Isabelle Comeaux

Isabel Cecile Comeaux, 88, a native and resident of Houma, died Friday, July 17, 2009. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Comeaux of Houma, Robert Comeaux of Gulfport, Miss., and Daniel Comeaux and wife, Lou, of Houma; four daughters, Marie Elaine Hebert and husband, Roosevelt "T-Boy," of Houma, Evie Galbraith and husband, Terry, of Bossier City, and Karen "Kay" Schillage, of Houma; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Joseph Comeaux; her parents, Albert Sr. and Natalie Samanie Songe; one daughter-in-law, Dorothy Crochet Comeaux; five brothers, Henry, Emile, Albert Jr., Elmore Sr., and Gilmore Songe; and two sisters, Cornelia LeBoeuf and Nora Bussey. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
