Dwayne McClanahan

Dwayne Carl McClanahan, 48, died Thursday, October 13, 2016.   He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Monday, October 17, 2016 from 8:00 AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tamara C. McClanahan; son, Joshua D. McClanahan; daughter, Ashley N. McClanahan; father, David R. McClanahan and wife, Joy; brothers, Timothy McClanahan and wife, Kara, and Todd McClanahan and wife, Valerie; grandchildren, Tristan A. Eakin and Koleson P. Gold; in-laws, Gerald Crappel and wife, Janet, and Dena Hood and husband, J. C. He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica D. McClanahan; grandparents, Herman and Fabiola Lirette Dupre. He was the owner of Tamco Professional Coatings in Houma, LA.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, traveling, riding Harley’s and spending time with family and friends.In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the MacDonnell Children Services, 8326 Main Street, Houma, LA 70363.
