James Paul Hebert, 54, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:03 PM. He was native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 9 AM until funeral time at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chauvin, LA.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Roxanne Authement Hebert; son, Philip P. Hebert; brother, Glynn M. Hebert and wife, Nanette; sisters, Amy H. Chauvin and husband, Ben, and Jan M. Hebert; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Paul and Dolores Marie Lapeyrouse Hebert; grandparents, Rosalis Hebert and Agnes White Hebert Arceneaux, Caliste Lapeyrouse and Octavie Portier Lapeyrouse. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Church.
He was employed with LA Ship. He was previously employed with Boudreaux Canal Store and Exploration Supplies of Houma. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5013. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, and friend to all he knew. He will be greatly missed by all.
