Robert Pellegrin

Robert “Bobby” Pellegrin, Sr. age, 79, Bobby passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Chapel Dauphine on Monday, September 26, 2016; beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at a later date in Magnolia Cemetery. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Irma Duhon Pellegrin; daughters, Jackie Pellegrin and Sandra Pellegrin Luby and husband Dwayne; step-children, Michael Porche and wife Marla, Christine Porche Smidth, Catherine Fox and husband Eugene, Nolan Porche and wife Janice and Phillip Proche; siblings, Murphy Pellegrin JR, Donald Pellegrin, Lois Charpentier, Joyce Dietrick. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Murphy SR and Clotille Blanchard Pellegrin; son, Robert Pellegrin JR; siblings, Maryann Babin, Merlin Pellegrin and infant sister. Bobby loved life, he met his wife Irma over fifty years ago, they both love music and danced their way to a beautiful marriage. He worked for Vacco and Baker; he worked offshore with fifty years of service and retired as a wireline operator specialist. He was a graduate of Terrebonne High School.
