Brandon Nathan Smith, 23, a native and resident of Houma, LA died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home Service: Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park. He is survived by his parents, Gary M. Smith, Sr., and Debbie B. Trahan; step-mother, Debora Garcia Smith; brothers, Gary M. Smith, Jr., and wife Ashley; Cody M. Smith sister, Candice S. Parsons and husband Kevin Parsons; paternal-grandfather, Elliot S. Smith, Sr., of Houma; paternal-uncles, Elliott S. Smith, Jr., of Lafayette, Wayne C. Smith and Keith B. Smith of Houma; paternal-aunts, Linda Smith of Kenner, Arlene Kelley of Bayou Sorrel and Leah Owens of Houma; maternal-grandmother, Ida Broussard of Shreveport; maternal-uncles, Johnny Broussard of Houma; Dallas Broussard of Shreveport and Joseph Broussard of Houma; paternal-aunts, Annette Anderson of Shreveport and Janette Mattingly of Houma; godchild, Kayleigh Parsons; nephew,Logan Smith.
