Carl Blanchard

Carl Joseph Blanchard, 89, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016  at 02:30 PM. He was a native of  Bayou Black and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 8:00am to service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial: Bayou Black Cemetery. He is survived by his, Son, Wayne Blanchard and wife Cindy; Daughter, Carleen Veronie; Sister, Mildred Dupre; Grandchildren, Becki Blanchard Badeaux and husband Timmy, Scott Blanchard, Ricky Lirette and wife Audrey; Great Grandchildren, Parker Badeaux, Jude Blanchard, Dorian Lirette, Seth Lirette. He was preceded in death by his, Spouse, Rita  Mae Arceneaux Blanchard, Parents, Theophile Blanchard and Mary Trahan Blanchard; Brothers, Morris Blanchard, Anthony Blanchard, Curtis Blanchard, Owen Blanchard, and Enos Blanchard; Sisters, Eva Hebert, and Lorraine Guidry. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Carl was a member of the Knight of Columbus in Bayou Black. He also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. The family would like to thank care-giver, Adelle Baker, Journey Hospice, and TGMC 4th floor nurses for all the loving care and attention shown to their father.
