Theotine "Theo" Ulysse Dardar, 85, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes and a resident of Montegut, died June 18, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home Services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial in Bisland Cemetery. He is survived by, daughters, Eveline Verdin and husband Wickliff Verdin; Brenda Sole' and husband George Sole' Sr. and Deldine Dufrene and husband Lionel Dufrene, Sr. and Nolia Dardar; sons, Eubert Dardar and wife Avelia; Gilbert Dardar and wife Gayle; sisters, Anita Dardar and Anna Billiot and Nate Brunet; brothers, Andrew, Parish and Sam Dardar; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren 2. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julienne Billiot Dardar; sons, Hebert and Robert Dardar; Grandson, Willie Verdin and his parents, Bazil and Zelia Dardar He was a volunteer for the U.S. Government
