Lidia Savin Saulsberry, 81, a native of Brownsville, Texas and a resident of Chauvin, Louisiana died on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 7:10 p.m. Visitation will be on Monday, June 22, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious Services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in ST. Elie Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Manuel "Chico" Savin and wife Cindy; Allen Savin and wife Dee and Daniel Savin and wife Adelia; daughter,Daisy Brunet and husband Randy; brothers, Juan Torres and Lee Trevino; sister, Francis Cuellar grandchildren, Hank Savin, Danielle Savin, Stacy Sweeten, Penny Duplantis, Sheila Savin, John Savin, Jesse Brunet; 11 great grandchildren and her special dog "Poncho". She is preceded in death by, her first husband, Dennis Savin; second husband, William Saulsberry; mother, Consuelo Cisneros Torres; and her brother, Francis Cuellar. She was a homemaker. She was Baptist.
