Allen Bergeron

Allen Joseph Bergeron, 66, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 06:13 AM. He was a native of New Orleans and resident of Paulina, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Chapel Dauphine beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date. He is survived by his, sons, Loxie and wife Sharry Bergeron, Lance Bergeron and their mother, Patti Schexnayder; grandchildren, Logan and Clayton Bergeron; longtime companion of sixteen years, Yvonne Tabb; brothers, Alvin, Michael, and  Charles Bergeron; sisters, Audrey Crochet, Esther Lirette, and Althea Millet.  He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Alton Bergeron and Leona Landry Crochet; grandson, Corbin Bergeron; brothers, Marcellian Bourgeois, Virgis Landry, Roy, Eugene and Ernest Bergeron ; sisters, Bessie Perrillioux,  Margie Davine, Bridget Bergeron.  Allen loved spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman.  He enjoyed playing with his chihuahua - Pudgy. He proudly served our country in the Army; he will be missed by his family and friends. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bergeron Family.
