Scott Marcel

Scott Joseph Marcel, 48, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was a native of Houma, La and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 8:30 AM until funeral time at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, LA.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his, son, Gauge Wesley Marcel; father, Kurt Adam Marcel; brother, Timothy J. Marcel; sister, Tonia M. Falgout and companion Brad Scott; former brother-in-law, Lloyd Falgout Jr.; nephews, Keith Falgout and wife Breezie, and Joshua Falgout; and great niece, Breonna. He was preceded in death by his,  mother, Geneva Frances Schouest Marcel; He was a member/parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was employed with Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government for 17 years as an equipment operator.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends playing cards and watching LSU and Saints. He love singing and listening to Elvis Presley. He was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle.  He will be greatly missed. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to serve the Marcel family.
