Cyrus Price

Cyrus John Price, 62, a native and resident of Houma, died Sunday, June 14, 2009. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma. Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Thibodeaux Price; mother, Effie Bourg Price; one daughter, Myra Price Thibodaux and husband, Albert Thibodaux; two sons, Ron Christopher Price Sr. and wife, Sherry Guidry Price, and Don Joseph Price; five brothers, Jimmy, Henry, William, Ronald and Timmy Price; three sisters, Vivian Price Marie, Margaret LeBoeuf and Wendy Guidry; and four grandchildren, Saadi Thibodaux and Megan Thibodaux, Justin Price and Ron Price Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Joseph Price Jr. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and he was a cook with Freeport Sulphur.
