Velma Naquin Robichaux

Velma Naquin Robichaux, 97, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 07:30 AM.  She was a native of Chacahoula and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her nieces, Janice O. Pontiff, Connie Magendie and Bonnie Dicharry; nephews, Leslie Naquin, Jr. and Kermit Naquin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Robichaux; daughter, Melody Robichaux; parents, Wilfred and Olympe Levron Naquin; Brothers, Kermit, Leslie and Wilmer Naquin; sister, Helen Naquin Olivier; nephews, Gerald Olivier and Gene Naquin. She was affectionately known as "Nannie" by all those who loved her. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
