Donald “Don” Dennis Chauvin, Jr., 44, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 01:24 PM.  He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 9 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc with a Memorial service at 11 AM.Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. He is survived by his father, Donald Dennis Chauvin Sr; mother, Barbara Ann Thibodaux Johnson; son, Don Pierre Chauvin; brother, Robert J. Chauvin and Brian P. Chauvin; step brother, David E. Johnson and wife, Mona; step sister, Lynn "Ann" Eschete and husband, Dwayne; nieces, nephews and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grand daugher, Jade Chauvin; grandparents, Walter J. and Theresa M. Massarini Chauvin, and Peter R. and Elvire "Vee" Cunningham Thibodaux; stepfather, Carl “Lynden” Johnson, uncle, Peter R. Thibodaux, Jr. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He enjoyed basketball,watching sports and movies. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Chauvin family
