Curtis "Curt" DeHart

Curtis “CURT” Paul DeHart,Sr., 61, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 06:10 AM. He was a native and resident of Theriot, LA. Visitation will be held Friday July 1, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.  Services will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 11:30 AM with interment at St. Francis De Sales # 2 Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Julie Fanguy DeHart; sons, Curtis Jr. and Nick & wife Miranda DeHart; daughters, Angelique “Angie” and husband Ron Lirette; brothers, Irvin Jr., Reginald and Wayne DeHart; sisters, Verdie & husband Charles Lovell, Jeanette & husband Buddy Daisy, Judy Dieck, Katherine and husband Dana Lirette, Carles Neal and Pamela Duncan; and grandchildren, Austin, Raegan and Luke Lirette, Maddie and Dane DeHart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Sr. and Thelma Guidry DeHart; brothers, Clifford DeHart, Sr.; and sisters, Susan DeHart and Mary Lynn Fanguy.  Mr. DeHart enjoyed fishing, shrimping, and spending time with family and friends. He was a Senior Warden at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and a volunteer Fire Fighter. He was a parishioner of St. Andrews Episcopal. The family expresses their special and sincere thanks to Jeremy Ball.Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the DeHart family.
