Paul J. Poincon, Sr. 70, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, died May 30, 2009. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial at St. Francis No. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Kreamer Poincon, his children, Karen Poincon and companion Bob Passman, Paul Poincon, Jr., and wife Lanetta Wayne DeRoche, Jennifer Loupe and husband Dudley Pamela Russo and husband Jonathan Byron DeRoche and wife Lola. His grandchildren, Zachary and Payton Poiencot, Rachelle Gautreaux,Brittany Pijor, Ashley and Nicole Russo, Ross and Kaylee DeRoche and Bretta Tassara. Great-Grandchildren, Cullen Nyssen Gabrielle Gautreaux and Kaleb Tassara. He is preceded in death by,His first wife Shirley Navarro Poincon and his parents, Nelson Poincon and Ida Boudreaux Poincon Mr. Poincon servied in the United States Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus - St. Louis (Bayou Blue) He was employed by Sammy Poiencot Electrical Service.
