Arthur Paul Duplantis, Jr., 74, died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 02:30 AM. He was a native of Arnaudville, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church.  Burial will be held St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his son, Christopher Paul Duplantis and wife, Amy; daughters, Hope Maria Duplantis and companion, Jeanette Crochet, and Effie Marie Undburger; sister, Elaine Mary Daigle; stepson, Richard Cook; stepdaughters, Kathleen Gregoire, Janice Cook, Ellen Bourg and  Cynthia Magellon; 23 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adelia Billiot Duplantis; parents, Arthur Paul Sr. and Effie Marie Guidry Duplantis; brother, J.B. Duplantis; stepson, Adam Orville Gregoire Jr.; grandson, Joey Undburger; granddaughter, Candas Hebert. He enjoyed Mardi Gras, Truck driving, traveling and fishing.He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all.
