Eddie Doucet

Eddie Theodore Doucet, 70, died Friday, June 10, 2016. He was a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Houma, LA.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 9:00am to service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Miranda Galliano Doucet; Daughters: Holly Doucet Luke, Naomi Doucet Faucheaux and companion Hoyt Riche; Grandchildren: Neil Stacy, Jake Stacy, Anna Luke, Jada Luke, Gunnar Doucet, and Ginny-Miranda Faucheaux; Great Granchildren: Makenzy Stacy, Breanna Stacy; and Step-Grandaughter: Kalynn Faucheaux. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Ocean Doucet and Loretta Angelette Doucet, Son-in-Law: Rene Faucheaux and Brother: Gary Doucet, He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He loved his work and was dedicated to his career for fifty years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends; whom he loved dearly.  Eddie was an avid fan of LSU and New Orleans Saints.   He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc, is honored to serve the Doucet family.
