Leslie Guidry

Leslie "Doc" Joseph Guidry, 88, a native of Bayou Dularge, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, died on May 27, 2009 at 8:45 p.m. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Hoe and on Monday, June 1, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. He is survived by, his wife of 58 years Dorothy "Dot" Marie Gaudet Guidry; son: Nathan Paul Guidry of Houma; step-son: Robert "Bobby" Paul Fanguy and wife Cindy of Haysville, North Carolina; daughter: Darlene Allred and husband Wendell of Sugarland, Texas; daughter-in-law, Aline Fanguy of Houma, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Lawrence Guidry, Sr., and Annette Aycock Guidry; son, Dennis Paul Fanguy; brothers: Lawrence Guidry, Jr., Francis Guidry, Roland Guidry, Eldon Guidry and Elmore Guidry and sisters, Mary Rita Guidry and Mary Lee Braud Mr. Guidry was an electrician for Texaco for 37 years. Mr. Guidry was a Staff Sargeant in the U.S. Army in World War II
