Dale Blanchard

Dale Paul Blanchard, 68, died Friday, May 13, 2016  at 3:52 PM.  He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.  and Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 9:00am to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.  He is survived by his,  Daughter Monica Blanchard and husband Eric Arceneaux;  Step Son Stephen Bonnecarrere and wife Becky; Step Daughter Christine Bonnecarrere; Brothers, Glenn Blanchard and wife Debbie, Keith Blanchard and wife Linda, Sisters, Gail Blanchard Ledet and late husband Shannon, Linda Blanchard Theriot and husband Keith, and Janice Blanchard Bergeron and late husband Earl;  Grandchildren, Morgan Bartsch and husband Daniel, Brad Parfait, Stephen Bonnecarrere Jr., Spencer Bonnecarrere, and Stuart Bonnecarrere; and great grandson Monroe Bartsch.  He was preceded in death by his, Parents:  Willie Joseph Blanchard and  Dorothy Waguespack Blanchard, He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working with his hands.  Dale was a veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served in Vietnam.
