Irene Lajaunie

Irene Marie Deroche Lajaunie, 82, a native and resident of Houma died Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.at Annunziata Catholic Church with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Donald Duplants and wife Kathy, David Duplantis and Camille Duplantis, Jr., all of Houma Daughters: Barbara Buquet and husband Chicky and Sue Duplantis all of Houma; brother, Clarence Deroche of Houma; sisters, Aileen Fazzio and Gladys Crochet both of Houma, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by, her parents, Vincent Deroche and Vena Martin Deroche; husband, Raymond Lajaunie; brothers, Duffy, Sidney and Johnny Deroche; sisters, June Pinell.
