Hazel Guidry

Hazel Mary Guidry, 76, a native and resident of Theriot, Louisiana, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Eloi Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived By,Daughters: (5) Mrs. Roosevelt (Gwendyln) Lirette, Jr., and Mrs. Daniel (Glenda) Lirette of Theriot, La. Mrs. David (Charlene) Lapeyrouse of Gonzales, Mrs. Freddie (Roxanne) Williams of Houma, La. Mrs. Leonard (Joy) Holt of Houma, La.; sons, Gregory Guidry,Errol Guidry, Carl Guidry and Roy Guidry all of Theriot, La. and Danny Guidry of Florida; sisters, Mazel Guidry of Theriot, Ellen Vauclin of Houma, Ann Adams of Morgan City Brothers: Nolan, Andrew and Barry Lirette of Theriot and Ronnie Lirette of Montegut; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by, Parents, Hilda Liner Lirette and Johnny Lirette; husband, LeRoy Peter Guidry; sister, Laura Boudreaux; grandchild, Jessica Lirette. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She is member of the St. Eloi Altar Society and St. Eloi Prayer Line.
