Joshua Michael Griffin, 38, died Monday, May 2, 2016 at 07:28 PM.  He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Thibodaux, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 in the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and visitation will resume Saturday, May 7, 2016 at First Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his,wife, Jade LeBlanc Griffin; daughters, Kenzie, Lexie, Payslie; mother, Patty Dugas LeJeune; father, Kirk P. Griffin and wife Anne Champagne Griffin; brothers, Jeremy and wife Jacqueline Griffin, Justin and wife Jana Griffin, Joseph Griffin; maternal grandparents, Clark Dugas and wife Mary and Claudette Dugas; mother-in-law, Anne Vilcan LeBlanc and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his,paternal grandparents, Weber and Ida "Bea" Griffin; father-in-law, James LeBlanc Josh was married to the love of his life, Jade for 11 years. They have three beautiful daughters. Josh was very active in his children's sporting events and coached their soccer team. He was a fun, loving, energetic, driven individual and was loved by many. Josh enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors and loved his dog Jax. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Griffin Family.
