Ricky Baker

Ricky Charles Baker, 51, a native of Vernon, Texas and a resident of Houma, Louisiana died on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 11:40 p.m. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his sisters, Sherrie Parker of Houma, Joyce Gant, Linda McPeat and Rita Hopper of Vernon, Texas and Peggy Hoke of Coulterville, California; brothers, Gary, John and Randy Adams of Vernon, Texas; half-brothers, Richard Hoke and Bobby Hoke of California; half-sisters, Lynn Petz of California; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Adams and Doris Henson; brothers, Bob and Tony Adams, half-brother, David Hoke and sister, Wanda Fennell. He was a shipbuilder at Acadian Shipyards.
