Maurice Peter Carlos, Jr., 73 died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 4:18 a.m. He was a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana. Visitation will be on Sunday May 17, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the House of Prayer in Thibodaux, and Monday May 18, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the House of Prayer in Thibodaux,La. Religious Service will be held on Monday May 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the House of Prayer in Thibodaux with burial following at the House of Prayer Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Dianne Prince Carlos who he was happily married to for 48 years, Sons, Chad Carlos and Mike Carlos, Daughters, Carla Roddy, Rhonda Granier, Paula Fontenot, Marla Chaisson, Leah Carlos, Brothers, Aubrey Carlos, Larry Carlos, Patrick Carlos, Sisters, Elma Smith, Patricia Boggs, 19 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents Morris Carlos and Cora Hebert Carlos and one grandchild Jennifer Roddy. Pallbearers will be Chad Carlos, Michael Carlos, Aubrey Carlos, Patrick Carlos, Larry Carlos, Norbert Prince, Jr. He was veteran of the Air Force and a member of Woodmen of the World. He was a great Christian and very active in his church, the House of Prayer. He was a great outdoorsmen. Maurice was loved and respected by everybody and never met a stranger. He was very close with all of his family and he will be dearly missed by all.
