Wilma Ann Hutt Belviy was born Aug. 2, 1928 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She passed away Tuesday night April 12,2016 at 10:08 PM after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, for many years and moved to Houma in 2012, after the death of her husband to reside with her oldest daughter, Donna Belviy Knight. Visitation and a prayer service will be from 4 PM until 7 PM Sunday April 17,2016 with a memorial service beginning at 7 PM in the Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. Visitation will also be held from 6 PM until 8 PM on Thursday April 21,2016 at Lauck-Veldhoff Funeral Home 1548 S. Meridian Street , Indianapolis, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday April 22,2016 at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13th Street, Indianapolis, IN with visitation being held one hour before scheduled Mass time, followed by burial next to her husband, Donald Lee Belviy, in Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis. She is survived by her children, Donna Belviy Knight and husband, Randy, of Houma, Louisiana; Gary Belviy and wife, Karen, of Indianapolis; Sandra "Sandy" Van Lieu and husband, Jerry Van Lieu; Paul Belviy and wife, Roberta, of Little Rock, Ark.; and Joseph Belviy, of Indianapolis. She is survived by her grandchildren, Chuck Klutts (Van Lieu) and wife, Heather, of Evansville, Ind.; David Belviy and wife, Dr. Laura Belviy, of Fayetteville, Ark.; Brian Mayer and wife, Laura, of Indianapolis; James Geisendorff, of Indianapolis; Dr. Michelle Belviy and husband, Dr. Nicholas Coe, of Springdale, Ark.; Andrea Lee and husband, Gary, of Brownsburg,Ind.; Michael Knight and wife, Lindsey, of Indianapolis; Katie Moran and husband, Chris, of Indianapolis; Rebecca Van Lieu, of Indianapolis; and Lexie Belviy, of Indianapolis. She is survived by her great-grandchildren Owen, Madeline and Ellie Klutts; Isaac, Samuel and Paige Mayer; Caleb and Alissa Geisendorff; Gracie and Brody Lee; Ashlie Batta and Henry and Jacob Knight; Elliott Coe; and one great-granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by one brother, George Hutt and wife, Betty Ann, of Clarksville, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald Lee Belviy; parents, Lawrence William Hutt Sr. and Mary Magdaline Haller Hutt, of Jeffersonville, Ind.; children, Mary Sue Belviy Geisendorff, Timothy Ray Belviy, James Lawrence Belviy, Dorothy Marie Belviy and Infant Girl Belviy, all of Indianapolis; and siblings, Charlotte "Sue" (Gilbert) Gwaltney; William "Bill" (Mary Kay) Hutt; Mary "Jane" (Daniel) MacDougall; Clara "Heckie" (Leonard) Weidner; Frank "Turk" (Regina) Hutt; Edna "Dude" (Garland) Murphy; the Rev. Father David "Bud" Hutt, OFM, Conv.; Lawrence "Andy" (Ethel) Hutt; and Helen Hutt. Wilma was the youngest of 11 children and the mother of 10 children. After she raised her large family, she worked at a bank in Indianapolis for many years. She was a caring and loving mother to her children and a devoted and faithful wife to her husband. In her younger years, she enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, gardening and cooking for family gatherings. Wilma spent many happy hours baby-sitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Indianapolis during her children's school years. In Houma, Louisiana, she attended St. Matthew's Episcopal Church with her daughter and son-in-law. The family of Wilma would like to thank the staff of Journey Hospice in Houma, especially Glenn Blair and Janet Pitre; her personal care-giver, Diane Porche, who cared for her like Wilma was her own mother; Deacon Jimmy Brunet from St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Houma; Fr.
