Jessie Chatagnier, Sr.

Jessie Joseph Chatagnier, Sr., 62, a native and resident of Houma died May 6, 2009. Visitation will be on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Saturday May 9, 2009 at Chauvin Funeral Home 8:00 a.m. until service time. Liturgy of the Word will be on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Linda Voisin Chatagnier of Bayou Blue; parents, Medelton and Hazel Price Chatagnier of Bourg; son, Jessie J. Chatagnier of Bayou Blue; daughters, Gail C. Price and husband Ray Price, Sr., of Montegut and Jessica Lynn Dupre' of Houma; brother, Danny Chataganier of Bourg; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Myron Chatagnier. He was a retired boat captain for Caillou Island Towing and also worked for Tommy's Cab. He was a Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
