Eve Mary Adams Jenkins, 86, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 06:20 AM. She was a native of Gibson and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 9:30 AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Archie Preston Jenkins; son, Lynn Douglas Jenkins and wife, Ellie; grandson, Eric Jenkins and companion, Nyleva Corley; granddaughter, Meghan Thompson and husband, Mark; great-grandson, Matthew Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Olga Theriot Adams; grandparents, Villery and Angelina Bergeron Adams, Camille Theriot, and Theodosia Adams Theriot Lee and husband, Paul ; brother, Alvin Adams; twin sister. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
