George Joseph Arcement, Sr., 88 a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 4:05 a.m. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 06, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday May 07, 2009 8:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home Liturgy of the World will be held on Thursday May 07, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and a graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m.at Crain Cemetery in Stateline, Louisiana He is survived by his wife, Boncille Crain Arcement, son, George Arcement, Jr. and wife Peggy Arcement,daughter, Pixie Arcement Ledet and husband Wilson Ledet ,Jr., brother, Raymond Arcement, grandchildren, Brad and David Arcement, Tanya Howard, Cassie and Lauren Ledet and great granchildren, Gavin Ledet, Makayla Comeaux, Arianna Stakes. he is preceded in death by, his parents, Abdon Paul Arcement and Eloyne Marie Belanger Arcement, brother, Eugene Arcement, sisters, Edith Degeneres, Hattie Chauvin, May Matherne, Dorothy Labit. Worked as a Steward for Freeport Sulphur and then J. Ray McDermott where he retired from.
