Mildred Mary DeHart Dumond,84, a native and resident of Theriot, Louisiana, died May 4, 2009 at 10:03 p.m. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Eloi. Mass of Christian Burialwill be on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by,daughters, Loran J. Dumond of Theriot and Clementine T. Cedotal of Theriot, son, Donell L. Dumond of Theriot, sister, Beaulah DeHart Guidry, step-brother, Sidney Lovell, Jr., grandchildren, Troy M. Dumond, Heather M. Rogers, Darrell P. Cedotal, and Angel M. Cedotal, great-grandchildren, Tyler Dumond, Cole Dumond, Clint Rogers, Jr., Alexis Cedotal and Darrell Cedotal, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Newel John Dumond, son, Darrell Dumond, parents, Edward DeHart and Alice Lovell DeHart, sisters, Melvina DeHart Liner and Elzina DeHart Dumond, brothers, Willie DeHart, Hilton DeHart and Elmer DeHart She was a homemaker. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary.
