James “J.B” S. Butler died peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with cancer for five yearson Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 11:25 a.m. He was 64 years old.
He was a native of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home
Religious Service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial in Garden of Memories.
He is survived by,
sons, James R. Butler and wife Regina Butler, and Sean Butlerl
daughter,Sandra Butler, brother, Frank Butler of Ukon, Oklahoma,
sister, Freda and Mike Walker of Toledo Bend, grandchildren, Zachary Butler, Zane Butler, Lacie Butler, Seth Butler, Samantha Butler, Shelby Butler.
He is preceded in death by,
wife, Leslie Butler, parents,U.B. Butler and Marie Raburn Butler,
grandparents,Al and Annie Butler
He was a superintendent for J. Ray McDermott for 44 years.
He was a avid fishermen and NASCAR fan
