Louise Marie Poiencot Bonvillian, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2009. She was 84 years of age. She was a native of Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by: Sons, A.J. and wife Carmen, John Bonvillian and wife Mae, Kenneth and wife Debbie, and Perry Bonvillian; daughters, Brenda Voisin and husband Royce, and Connie Trahan and husband Darryl, Brother, Randolph Poiencot of Berwick, La, Grandchildren 30, Great-Grandchildren 26, Step-Grandchildren 6, Step-Great-Grandchildren, 15 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 3 She is preceded in death by, husband, Eugene Murphy Bonvillian, Sr.; son, Eugene Murphy Bonvillian, Jr., parents, Aurelie Simon Poiencot and Jeane Marie Babin Poiencot,brothers, Edward Poiencot, Sr., Johnny Poiencot and Reynold Poiencot, Half-Brothers, Henry Poinecot, Ivy Poiencot, Enos Poiencot, Aubrey Poiencot, and Edward "Fish" Poiencot, sister, Mildred Poiencot Cadiere, half-sisters, Josephine Poiencot Demck and Celena Poiencot,great grandchild, Carla Bonvillian She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is a member of the East Park Ladies Auxilliary Society.
