Shirley Chauvin

Shirley Helen Chauvin, 89, died Monday, March 7, 2016 at 1:45 PM. She was a native of  and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 10,2016 from 8:30 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Cathedral with interment to follow in St. Francis DeSales Cemetery II.   She is survived by her,  son, Kerry and wife Debra Chauvin of Houma , daughters, Pamela & husband Woody Louviere of Houma and Deborah & husband Baylis (TOMMY) Bergeron of Houma, grandchildren, Buster and Bridgette Bergeron, Wendy Dufresne, Mark Louviere, Tanya Bourgoyne and Teri Smith, great-grandchildren, Ashley, Justin and Jonathan Dufresne, Jacob, Caroline & Joshua Louviere, Julia Roane, James Bourgoyne, Ethan and Max Smith, Kurt Russo, Bryce Domangue, Alexis Lavender, Luke, Noah and Bayli Bergeron., sisters, Janalee Guidry and Barbara Babin.  She was preceded in death by her, husband of of 70 years: Tillman Andrew Chauvin, parents, James and Emma Pitre Dill, and brothers, James and Ray Dill. A very special and heartfelt thanks to caregivers Alexis Lavender, her great-granddaughter and Dr. Henry Russell. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations made to your favorite charity. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
