Druby J. Ledet, 85, n native of Montegut and a resident of Houma died April 29, 2009. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Annunziata Catholic Church with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his Loving Wife of 68 years, Yvonne Henry Ledet Son: Kenneth Ledet and wife Hazel Ledet;daughters, Eurlie Ledet Williams and husband Bobby, Gale Ledet and Cathy Kohmann; Grandchildren: (7) Dena Williams Szaroleta and husband Mike, Michelle Williams Richard and husband Brian, Dr. Nicole Williams McKee and husband Christian, Lisa Lirette Landry and companion, Chris S. Gehring, Troy Lirette and companion Melissa Furr, Lee Kohmann and companion Misty Marcel and Jennifer Kohmann and fiancee' Mauricio Toscano; Very Special-Great-Grandchildren: Sarah Bourque, Emily Richard, Malorie Lirette, Mylah Lirette, Kari Landry, Matthew Kohmann, Jacob McKee and Olivia McKee and brother, Gerald Ledet and wife Nell of Chauvin. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Ledet Lirette; parents, Willis and Olivia Dupre Ledet, sisters, Thelma Trahan and Rosemary Portier and brothers, Albert Ledet, Ragis Ledet and Remy Ledet Druby worked for 35 years for Exxon Oil Company and retired as a field superintendant. He and his wife Yvonne spent the early years of their retirement traveling in their motorhome with the Exxon Retirees Travel Club and with the Cruisin' Cajuns. In his later retirement years his whole time and devotion were to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. He will be sadly missed by his family and the many lives he touched; from the pulmonary rehab staff to the fourth floor nursing staff at TGMC and his coffee buddies at Annunziata Catholic Church . He was a long standing member of the Knights of Columbus and a former Usher where he was a devoted church member and supporter. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Annunziata Capital Campaign.
