Mary Lou Trahan, 79, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 12:05 AM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Napoleonville, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 9:30Am to service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Noon at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery. She is survived by her brother, Norris J. Trahan Jr., sister, Marie T. Theriot and husband Ellis, nieces, Robin Phillips, Teri Thibodeaux, Regina Landry, and Robin Trahan, nephew, Clark Theriot and wife Alyson, and she is also survived by eight great nephews, five great nieces, and five great great nephews and seven great great nieces. She was preceded in death by her, parents, Norris Joseph Trahan and Gertrude Duplantis Trahan, nephew, Victor Trahan, great niece, Jodi Trahan. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She loved to dance, play cards, read books, and visit with her family. The family would like to give a special thanks to Assumption Arc, CIS physicians and staff, and Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, and everyone who gave their support and prayers.
