Anna Lee Dumont

Anna Lee Marie Dumont, age 89, died Friday, February 26, 2016.  She was a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., and Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Merrill Gautreaux and husband Fred, Janice Lopez and husband James, sons, Errol Dumont and companion Louella Lambert, Nason Dumont and wife Jennine, grandchildren, Tracy Gautreaux, Craig Gautreaux, Mitzi Falcon, James Lopez and Gregory Lopez, Erica Matherne, Matthew Dumont, Natasha Kraemer, nine great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Lorraine Thibodeaux and Stella Thibodeaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elise Thibodeaux, husband, Harry Dumont, sister, Audrey LeBoeuf, brothers, Claude Thibodeaux and Roy Thibodeaux, brother-in-law, Alvin LeBoeuf. Anna Lee was a lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary and the Ward 7 Citizens Club. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother, great -grandmother, great-great - grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.  She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
