Betty Rae Gambarella, 58, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 09:10 AM. She was a native of Laurel, MS and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Lovencie "Vince" John Gambarella, Jr.; sons,William Patrick Roper and wife, Melea, Joey Don Pierce and wife, Shanna, Jason Wayne Pierce and Antonio Thaddeus Gambarella; daughter, Barbara Ann Roper; brother, Henry Hollingsworth, Jr.; step daughters, Lorie G. Cheramie and husband, Alton, and Susie G. Newell and husband, George; 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by herfather, Henry Hollingsworth; mother, Ira Mae Baggett Hollingsworth; sister, Retha Mae Hollingsworth. She was a member of Living Word Church.
