Elroy Boudreaux

Elroy “EJ” Boudreaux, 70, a native of Lafourche parish and resident of Amite, LA died at 3:28 pm Wednesday, February 19, 2016. Memorial services will be from 10 am-1:30 pm Monday, February 29, 2016 at Chauvin Funeral Home with 2 pm burial to follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Bayou Blue. He is survived by four daughters, Melissa Ann Shackelford, Melinda Dee Boudreaux, Marlene Kay LeBouef, and Sarah Lynn Ortego; one son, Christopher Michael Boudreaux. Grandchildren, Nicholas Joseph Dogan, Lainey Claire LeBouef and Landon Cole Ortego. One brother, Felton Boudreaux; two sisters, Janice Coffelt and Pamela Davis.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Elray and Nora Boudreaux; two brothers, Wayne and Vallery Boudreaux. EJ was a retired mechanic, truck driver and locksmith. He enjoyed collecting classics and was a Harley enthusiast. EJ never met a stranger and had a gift of fixing anything.
