Phil Ray Denson, 75, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 04:56 PM.
He was a native of Charlotte, NC and resident of Bourg, LA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 5:00P.M. to 9:00P.M. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 9:00A.M. to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11:00A.M. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty one years; Shirley Breaux Denson, Son; Keith Ray Denson, Daughter; Debbie Denson Malbrough and husband Case Malbrough, Step-Son; Gerald J. LeBouef Jr., Step-Daughter; Beckie LeBouef and companion Toby Lavender, Brothers; Bobby Denson and wife Joyce Denson, Rickey Denson and wife Donna Denson, Don Denson and wife Gail Denson, Sisters; Becky Schmidt and late husband Henry "Blue" Schmidt, Patsy Denson Dupre and late husband Woodrow Dupre Jr., Vickey McKay and husband Jimmy McKay, Grandchildren; Chase Denson, Lexie Denson, Mason Malbrough, Angel Malbrough, and Brad Babin,. Phil is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Floyd Denson and Hazel Steele Denson,Step-Daughter; Tammy Renee Babin, and Brotherj Ronnie Denson.
He was the owner Phil's Exxon #1, #2, and Phil's Daiquiri for over forty years. He loved to go to the casinos. He was a very active in the Masons, Shriners and loved to visit friends at New Orleans Court #36. He enjoyed working and riding on his tractors and caring for his land. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Shriner Hospital in Galveston, TX.
