Barbara Carlos

Barbara Carlos, age 73, died Saturday, January 30, 2016.  She was a native of and resident of Dulac, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Patrick Carlos, Sr., sons, Patrick Carlos, Jr. and companion Marcia Ellerbe and Darryl and wife Rosella Carlos, grandchildren, Christian, Callie, Shelby, Savannah and Cassie, eight great-grandchildren, sister, Doris Authement, brother, Magnus and wife Shirley DeHart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Lillian Luke DeHart, brothers, Jervis, Leroy, Douglas, Earl and Aubrey DeHart. Barbara was a member of VFW Post 4752 Ladies Auxillary in Dulac, LA. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was loving and caring towards all she came in contact with. She enjoyed spending time working in her flower beds. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac.
