Hester Josephine Tivet Pellegrin, 85, a native of Dulac and resident of Houma, died Saturday, April 20, 2009.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Liturgy of the word will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 38 years, Harry Pellegrin; four sons, Lloyd Falgout Sr. and wife, Viola of Grand Caillou, Russell Falgout Jr. of Chauvin, Jeffery Falgout Sr. of Chauvin, Fred Falgout Sr. and wife, Myra of Chauvin; one daughter, Cathy Cortez and husband, Curtis, of Grand Caillou; one sister, Amelia Bergeron, of Houma; five grandchildren, Lloyd Falgout Jr., Jeffery Falgout Jr., Fred Falgout Jr., Curtis Cortez Jr. and Dexter Falgout; and four great-grandchildren, Keith Falgout, Joshua Falgout, Angelle Falgout, and Avayen Falgout.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Benita Leco Tivet; her first husband, Russell Falgout Sr.; one son, Parry Falgout; one daughter, Sally Ann Falgout; four brothers, Frank Tivet Jr., Hubert Tivet, Ivy Tivet, and Raymond Tivet; two sisters, Vivian and Leona Theriot; and two grandchildren, Ronnie and Donnie Falgout.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
