Milton “Mitty” Louis Boudreaux Jr., a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, April 18, 2009.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Guidry Boudreaux; his daughter, Rhonda L. Boudreaux LeBoeuf and husband, Bryan J. LeBeouf; his son, Milton L. Boudreaux III and companion, Tammy Grabert of Houma; one sister, Rhea “Peaches” Barker of Lockport; one grandchild, Kandice B. Francis and husband, Ray Francis Jr.; two step-grandchildren, Niki and Brad LeBeouf; and one step-great-grandchild, Carrie LeDoux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton L. Boudreaux Sr. and Rhea Doiron Boudreaux; a stillborn brother; and his grandparents, Benjamin and Agatha Boudreaux, and Clay and Francis Doiron.
He was a parishioner of Maria Immaculata Catholic Church and a longtime businessman in the oilfield. He enjoyed fishing and motorhoming. He served in the U.S. Army. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Russell Henry, the staff of Terrebonne General Medical Hospital, LTAC, Terrebonne Homecare, and Bayou Region Hospice.
