John Dreux Belanger, Sr., 84, native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 11:35 pm. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery . He is survived by: Sons, John "Sonny" D. Belanger, Jr., and wife Anita of Houma, Charles Nicholas Belanger of Houma; Daughter,Penny Ann Belanger of Houma; Sister, JoAnn Belanger; Grandchildren, 5; Great Grandchildren,9; and former wife, Mary Lee Chatagnier Belanger he is preceded in death by: his parents, Hubert N. Belanger and Ancienne Chatagnier Belanger; one sister, Wendy Belanger Guillotte; He was a truck driver for Beltec Spray Weld and Mechanical He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy He was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Lucy Catholic Church.
