Irene Cecile Rhodes, 86, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at 07:25 AM.She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 9:30am until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial: Magnolia Cemetery. She is survived by her, son, Stephen Rhodes and wife Vickie, brothers, Robert Marcel, Ray Marcel, sister,Shirley M. Hernandez, grandchildren, Allyson Kyzar, Anna Rhodes, Thomas Rhodes, Great Grandchildren: Braden and Emily Kyzar. She was preceded in death by her, spouse, Clifton Joseph Rhodes Sr., parents, Wilson Marcel and Adele Bernard Marcel, sons, Clifton Rhodes Jr., Guy Rhodes, sisters, Yvette M. Hebert, Jeanne M. Daigle and Enid M. Fergueson, brothers, Wilson Marcel, Thomas Marcel,  and grandson, Joseph Rhodes.   Irene enjoyed dancing and painting. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor and Haydel Memorial Hospice for their love and care. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Cancer Society.
