Terry Lirette

Terry Michael Lirette, 56, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at 12:55 PM. He was a native of Houma, La and resident of Schriever, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 21, 2016 at St. Francis Cathedral from  10:30 AM until Service Time. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM with burial to follow in St. Francis De Sales Cemetery II. He is survived by his, wife of 36 years; Marie Dusenbery Lirette, brother, Druis & wife Yvonne Lirette, sisters, Jenita & husband Russell Melancon, and Karen & husband James Kelly, and  His 6 beloved cats. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Deaury and Dolores Acosta Lirette,  brother, Darel Lirette, sister,  Sandra Voisin, Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law,  “PaPa” Gene Dusenbery and Wylma Dusenbery and brother-in-law, John Dusenbery.   He was a member of Professional Bowlers Association, a gifted Athelete and loved animals. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Ochsner ICU, especially Dr. Pettiford, Dr. Phillips and Dr. Jacobs. In lieu of flowers, donations to My Hearts Desire, Hope for Animals and Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter preferred.
