Larry Ledet

Larry J. Ledet, age 77, died Friday, January 15, 2016.  He was a native of Houma and resident of Morgan City, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Liturgy of the Word service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.  Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by the mother of his children, Joan F. Ledet, his beloved children, Michael J. Ledet, Donna L. (Gene) Moore, Sharon L. (Darren) Ackman, grandchildren, Brittany and Abigail Ackman, Ashley, James and Louis Ledet, and sister, Gail Fonseca.He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Marie Louise Ledet, daughter, Connie Marie Ledet, brothers, C.J. Crochet and Roland Ledet. He enjoyed golfing and camping. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He retired from Texaco after 35 years of service. Larry was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. The family would like to thank Morgan City Healthcare Center’s nursing staff and doctors. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
