Mrs. Douglas "Bobbie" Keller

Funeral Services will be held at a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma, Louisiana on Friday April 17th, at 10:30 AM for Mrs. Douglas "Bobbie" Keller, 83, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12th, 2009. Visitation will be held at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma, Louisiana from 8:30 AM until funeral time. Bobbie a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana and formerly of Houma, Louisiana was born July 29th, 1925 in Ocilla, Georgia to Joseph Bryant and Ruby Paulk Bryant Spell. Bobbie was married to the late Douglas A. Keller, DDS. Bobbie lived in Houma until moving to Lafayette seven years ago. She is survived by one son, Douglas R. Keller and wife Gloria of Lafayette, Louisiana; one daughter, Margaret Keller Broussard and husband Emile of Abbeville, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Courtney Keller Cline and husband Parrish, Caroline Broussard and Andrew Broussard; two great grandchildren, Rowan Keller Cline and Adriana Michel Cline. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas A. Keller, DDS; one son David G. Keller, DDS; and one sister Jimmy Holland Slaughter. While raising her family in Houma Bobbie was active in Hycinthians Ladies Carnival Club, her homemaker's club, St. Francis de Sales Church Parish. Bobbie enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family, friends and neighborhood coffee group.
