Mayola Cunningham

Mayola Cunningham, 90, died Monday, January 4, 2016. She was a native of Theriot, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, January 8, 2016 from 9:00am to service time at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Bridget Catholic Church.  Burial: St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery She is survived by her spouse, Ruben Cunningham, son, Robert Cunningham and wife Tina, daughters, Ruby Cunningham and Christine Cunningham, brothers, Earl, L.J., and Richard Brunet, sisters, Shirley Brunet Rodrigue, grandchildren, Curtis Malbrough and wife Robyn, Erica Walker and husband Harold Jr., Bridgette Underdonk, Mitchell Mabrough and wife Theresa, Kimberly Lajaunie and husband Wallace Sr., Steven Cunningham and wife Jenny, Elizabeth Willis and husband Shane, and Christopher Roddy, and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents,  Columbus Brunet and Missy Callahan Brunet, brothers, Sylvan, Luby, Carrol, Wilson, Allen, and Roy Brunet, and sister,Thelma Brunet Carlos.  The family would like to give a special thank you to Haydel Memorial Hospice, Christy Griffin, and Gladys Winslow.
