Lillian Marie Cunningham, 97, a native and resident of Houma, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12 2015.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. followed by a burial in the church's cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Emery and wife, Mary Lou, Elward and wife, Betty, Eric and wife, Mary Lee, Philip and wife, Mary Jane and David and wife, Mary Jo; daughters, Brenda Theriot and husband, Freddie and Jane Breaux and husband, Jimmy; brothers, Larry and Floyd Hutchinson; sisters, Lydie Falgout and Margaret Clement; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 42 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Anthony Cunningham; parents, Whitney and Clara Hutchinson; brothers, Johnny, Rudolph and Eldon Hutchinson; sisters, Elodie Fanguy, Madeline Ellender and Elaine LeBlanc; grandson, Danny Cunningham.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a trawler with her husband for many years. She was a very loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and loved by many, many people. She had a love of the Lord and her Catholic Faith.
