Dorothy Margaret Marcel, 71, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 08:18 AM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 9:00am to until service at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: Garden of Memories Memories Cemetery.She is survived by her, sons, Cary Guercio and Steve Guercio, daughters:, Tammy Guercio, brothers, Edward Richard and Wayne Richard, sisters, Meryl Aycock and June Fischer, grandchildren, Jonathan Neal and Beth Pinel,  and great grandchild, Gavin Pinel.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Richard and Dorothy Boquet Richard, and spouse, Junel Marcel. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a devoted Catholic who was in love with her faith and her Lord.  She devoted much of her time to Saint Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She had a great love and devotion to the Holy Rosary. She enjoyed playing bingo and swimming at the YMCA. She was a former Avon representative.  Dorothy never met a stranger. She had many friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
