Tom Currie

Tom Lee Currie, 89, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 07:40 AM. He was a native of Waco, TX and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on  Friday, December 4, 2015 from 9:00am to service time at St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his, daughters,Kathy Currie Guidry and husband Lester, Debra Currie Colwart and husband Michael, sister,Wanda Currie, grandchildren,Tommy Guidry and Courtney Breaux. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Mara Mailander Currie, parents, Tom and Marjorie Morgan Currie, brother, Bob Currie. Tom was a chemical salesman.Tom was a parishioner of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. He loved his church, faith and his Lord. He was past member of the Mardi Gras Barbershop Chorus in New Orleans, Louisiana in which he sang Tenor.
